GreenIO is coming to NYC and I’m speaking at it (along with quite a few familiar names). The fine folk at GreenIO have given me three tickets to give away to lucky readers. Tickets are usually $299 (or $199 for unwaged freelancers, etc).
Fill in this form to enter the draw for a ticket. I’ll give preference to people who are pretty certain they’ll be able to attend, and who aren’t traveling far.
My talk: “Escape from the forbidden zone”
It’s at 2.25pm on Thursday 15th. It’s about “being ethical and getting away with it”, which is something I used to talk about way back in the mists of time (early 2010s). The backdrop is our current political mess, and how using certain words or concepts can get your Federal funding cut.
Fortunately, there are myriad methods for applying forbidden concepts (like accessibility, inclusion or sustainability) to your work without tripping the alarm and getting you added to some sort of list.
It’ll be a fun time!
SustainableUX side event at GreenIO?
If we get a few SustainableUX readers at GreenIO, we could do some sort of get-together. Let me know on our LinkedIn Group page (or just send me an email).
Or just come say “hi” on the day.
Ciao for now,
James
